“So where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” - Matthew 6:21
True stewardship is taking care of and sharing all that we have and all that we are
— our time, our talents and our treasure. The fifth precept of the Catholic Church
("You shall help to provide for the needs of the Church") means that the faithful
are obliged to assist with the material needs of the Church, each according to his
own ability. (CCC 2043)
Our treasure — both money and all of the other things we possess — are gifts from
God that we are asked to care for and generously share for our own benefit and for
the good of others. One of the tools that God works through is money. The money
that is received from parishioners contributes toward a substantial part of God’s
work done through our parish.
We thank you for your generosity and any financial contributions you are able to
make in support of Immaculate Conception Parish. Immaculate Conception Parish strives
to be a good steward of the money you have entrusted to us, using it only for those
purposes you have intended it to be used. If you have any questions about your financial
contribution to the parish, please call the parish office at 734-7533. We are here
to serve you.
